I'd like to take the opportunity to state that I care about everybody in the IHOP crew, but in my own misanthropic, distant way. If anybody wants or needs me, you know how to reach me. And I'll be around more once I get back on track. That deposit on the Maxima really cleaned me out.

Actually, hold on. I think I really need to know what this is about.
You don't scream at someone about a little over three bucks in pennies (five bucks after getting mixed with mine), so there must be something else going on besides the penny issue.
I can't imagine what else this could be about, since Asmo offered no real information and was rather vague about what "people" were having trouble with. He said there had been some concern, but could give no "for example"s and never really nailed down what the issue was. The shout-out was for whoever those "people" might be, not anyone in particular. To be quite honest, I didn't think there was a problem and that Asmo was just doing what Asmo does when there are issues between us.
But if this is all about those pennies, then I can pay the $5. None of them were wheat pennies and the dates weren't particularly significant. I imagine if the pennies had more importance than what I'm seeing, they never would have been left over here in the first place.

The pennies had alot of importance because they were mine and my roomate's. The fact that you knew whose they were and without asking permission, took someone's money and put into your bank account is an issue. The money is no longer an issue at all, because this has turned into a case of no trust. If I had left something else there would you have sold it and put it into you bank? Or if it more than just pennies, the same perhaps? . Once again, I don't care about the actual money I care about the trust I just lost in what I believed was a good friend.

I just want to make sure I'm clear on this:

You have a trust issue with me because of $5 worth of pennies that have been here since Christmas Eve? Pennies that can very easily be replaced? It's not like I'm pawning Dvd's or something. I mean we're really talking about pennies?

I just want to be sure that that's what's going on, and that this isn't just a symptom of something much larger. Maybe I'm not seeing the full scope or there's something else going on. I just really want to be sure that we're both talking about what was really maybe $3 in pennies.

This just really points to reasons why I am not hanging out with any of the IHOP crew. It seems odd to me that A would even know about the pennies since you kinda thought they were yours until Asmo pointed out that they weren't. I do recall you specifically saving five dollars to replace them. As in "oh shit sorry man didn’t realize you wanted them as they have been there two weeks". When people are short with you with no explanation. Lie to you when they could have easily told you the truth. Have problems with you and don’t address them with you personally. It’s awful hard to take them seriously or continue being a steward of their friendship. These sorts of behaviors smack of the worst kinds of cowardice and personally I feel like pennies isn’t exactly the trust issue to hang ones hat on.

I simply took the tact of deciding not to be around anymore. While agree with your statement I woudl ask: How adult of you was it to lie to me and tell me you were "sleepy" instead of saying you just didn’t want to my mom's Xmas party? Pretty cowardly. In fact I would have been fine if you had simply told me that you didn’t want to go. Instead you chose to lie to me and then acted puzzled when I didn’t return your calls.

SO You want them/us to act like adults? My conjecture is that they/we are acting par for the course. That I am responding at all in this medium is attributable to the vast amount of respect that I have been given and that I feel the given situation deserves.

I think its fucking asinine that anyone is going to go after Mila for less than five bucks and if that’s the bottom of the matter then I feel she must be dealing with someone who is beneath her personal consideration or who is taking crazy pills. And if its not then they best step up and get to swinging because you don’t deal with people who are supposed to be your friends like this unless (as I did) you discover that they are not.
