You only need the sound for that.

I've been watching folks run to gun shows these last few to snap up "assault weapons". The reasoning is these guns might get banned, so folks have to run out and buy them.

I don't know anyone with a basement full of Chinese dog food, but that's been banned. Anyone out there hording lawn darts? Why not? Still wondering how much those buckets of lead paint will get on eBay. Remember how everyone ran out to buy a Chevy Corvair when Unsafe at Any Speed came out? No?

The only other thing I can compare it to is incandescent light-bulbs, which is just about as stupid, but doesn't kill people.

Anyway, Chris Rock is right about bullet control. Bullets are really the problem here, not the guns. Let the assholes have their guns! Whatever. Let them get a gun that fires five bullets a second. Just make those bullets prohibitively expensive. Go buy all the 100-round clips you like, but know that you have to show ID each time you buy and you're limited to two boxes each trip.

We're dealt with bad laws before, so let's get rid of the ones that don't keep us safe.

That's one of my favorite Chris Rock rants.

I saw sets of Jarts in two different antique malls this past week. One was ridiculously cheap. Had I a lawn, I would have totally bought them.
