Listen well, thou
Freya’s child
Thou now art tame
Though once was wild

Claws of silver
Eyes of gold
Thou now art theirs
Through young and old

Fur of midnight
Blood of fire
Catch for them
All they desire

Bring forth each boon
Chase off each debt
And earn thy keep
Thou, tiny pet
