Juku: A Comics Album is now commanding $500 a pop on Amazon.
The people who were part of this and are still alive and have boxes of copies of this should post some of them for sale. I'll be talking about it at A-Kon this weekend and I'll talk about about it again during Anime Fest in August, so I'm pretty sure you can sell your copies.
I'll bet the people who are still alive and still have copies could even sign them and ask for more.

Date: 2016-06-04 02:52 am (UTC)Man, kinda wish I was at A-Kon. Kinda. I think it's just that desire to get out, ya know? I don't think I can go to any more cons while mom is the way she is. I mean, besides the broke-ass thing and all. :)
ETA: John Ringo and Helen McCarthy are guests? F**K!
I missed David Drake and now John Ringo. Dammit.
Eric Flint is of interest as well.
I have zero idea who any of the voice actors or cosplay guests are. boo hoo hoo, so sad, yes? :)

This is more for Ed, who says he's got at least 50 copies.

Date: 2016-06-04 04:28 pm (UTC)We probably sold fifty at Acen 2002 and another fifty at AWA that year. I don't know what they sold at Dallas cons, if any. Bruce and Mundee quit trying to sell JUKU halfway through that first Acen; by the second Acen they had abandoned CDE's table entirely and were selling somebody's applique'd cigar boxes at Bob and Emily's table in the dealers room.
In 2003, sales at AWA and Acen were roughly half what they were previously. People were expecting a new book, and that was simply not gonna happen.
