Let me tell you why this pisses me off.
The moment I saw that image, a thing went off in my brain. A very old memory.

This is a couple pages from my 1975 copy of Childcraft (had the whole library), specifically Volume 1: Poems and Rhymes. This is a book I've had my entire life. This is how I learned about poetry as a kid.
The index of illustration credits at the back of the book says this image is a photo by the Yerkes Observatory, with art by Mary Horton. She has a lot of illustrations in this book and it's a lovely book to boot.

Look at that kitten. That is haiku-fucking-perfect.
And look, I don't care if the quote is from Fernando Pessoa. The only thing that proves to me is twee bullshit isn't new. It's vintage twee bullshit.
But give some fucking credit where it's due.
