My oh my. So, we had the convention, and that has its own ball of things, but that's not what I want to talk about right now.

No, you see, this weekend I was at a different kind of public event, which--even though it was slightly geeky--was not specifically built around geek culture.

On top of that, there was this collection of tweets that kind goes into it and maybe we all need to look at this a little more closely.

Well, I have the day off and I don't have to be at work until late tomorrow, so let's have a drink and a smoke and get started. Are you comfortable? OK, let's go.
